Sean and Rachel

    It was August 26th 2013. 12pm I (Rachel) am getting ready to leave to go to the Outer Banks for the day. I absolutely love it down there and Sean knows it, which is why he took me there. So we head down there and have lunch at Pigmans. Its a BQQ restaurant that I love! That is the only place that I will ever let any kind of hush puppies ever touch my lips. I seriously have to suggest anyone going down there and having them.. THEY ARE THE BEST!! Anyhow, we had lunch and then we went to Ben Franklin. (for those of you who don't know what that is its a souvenir shop) I ALWAYS GO there every time I'm down there. So when we were shopping I noticed something very strange about Sean.. He was acting very different and COMPLETELY OUT OF IT. I had picked up something and told him how I really needed this. Then we walked around and he says.. OH I see you found something. (*smacks my own forehead*) I was so confused as to why he didn't notice or hear me. He also told me that he needed to be at the beach at a "certain" time. I was catching on but didn't want to believe or assume that maybe he might propose to me. What if he hadn't? I would be crushed. So I had to keep telling myself not to think that. Which I did. So we went to the beach, walked around on the beach and I'm thinking he would never propose to me on the beach there are WAYYY to many people here and he knows I wanted that moment to be priviate and special. So we kept walking and we were heading up to pavilion and I ask, Sean are we going up here? His response was... I think so? How can you not know where we are going? Was my thought. We walk up to the bottom of the stairs and honestly I couldn't read what it said.. but it took me a second or two but finally I saw that it said Happy Anniversary. (Oh did I mention it was our 3 year anniversary?) Well it was. So we walk up the stairs and honestly at this point I am thinking that this is where we are going to exchange our presents to each other at..... but NOPE! I went up the stairs and I hear playing Your Love Is A Song by (guess who) Switchfoot and there is this beautiful display of candles and a table.. and On that table it said Will YOU MARRY ME? I was so shocked (believe it or not) it was so BEAUITIFUL!! And of course I said YES and began hugging him! He says well hang on a second I got more to do! So he gets down on one knee and under a bench he pulls out a box that has my ring in it! :D He gives a tiny speech and I started crying and said YES!! :D I then wondered how he had pulled all this off because it was in a different state and we were together that whole morning. But thanks to our awesome friends James, Haley, and Morgan all helped Sean plan such a perfect day for me! I love you all and thanks sooooo much!
